WELCOME TO: NAVIGATING THROUGH CHANGE
Change is inevitable. If we believe we can escape it, we are fooling ourselves
Why do we struggle so much with change? Change can cause us to question our identity and purpose. When change occurs, the revealing of where we have placed our security surfaces.
If we are not careful, we can find our minds swirling with questions like, ‘Why is this happening? Why am I being overlooked or disregarded? What did I do wrong? Why is God angry with me?’ Although we may feel these are valid questions, if we focus too much on them, we can find ourselves emotionally, mentally, and spiritually stuck.
The Lord God is my strength [my source of courage, my invincible army]; He has made my feet [steady and sure] like hinds’ feet And makes me walk [forward with spiritual confidence] on my high places [of challenge and responsibility].” (AMP – Habakkuk 3:19)
God does not want us to be stuck! He wants us to make progress when encountering times of trouble, suffering, and responsibilities. God instructs us through His Word that change is a part of life. Our approach to our times of transition will either cause us to feel like a victor or a defeated foe.
To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven.” (NKJV – Ecclesiastes 3:1).
God wants us to embrace the change moments of our lives with assurance, confidence, courage, and peace. He does not want us to feel insecure, fearful, unsettled, and anxious. When we become insecure and fearful, we can feel displaced and disheveled. This is not a position of empowerment.
As change occurs within our lives, we will not be overwhelmed by it, but we will view these as moments of possible opportunities. We are not going to get derailed, discombobulated, or defeated. We are going to be fearless women who believe because we trust in God’s faithfulness.
